First Code Academy (FCA) is the first and leading education company that offers mobile app and programing development courses for pre-university students in Asia.

English Opens Doors Program of the Ministry of Education in Chile is backed by the United Nations. The program brings native and near-native English speakers to work in Chilean public schools as English teaching assistants. Volunteers focus on improving the speaking and listening skills of students and work to motivate students to practice their English language skills.
The 2nd Annual Come on Out-Japan Summer Internship Program is extending an invitation to top U.S. universities and Japanese high school students for a cross-cultural learning experience.
They are currently seeking U.S. college students and recent graduates with native level English skills, who would be interested in coming to Japan for 6 weeks from July 8th through August, 19th 2016. Although this is an unpaid internship, the sponsor is providing certain expenses for each Intern who participates in the six week program. In addition to airfare, lodging, meal and transportation subsidies, the program offers optional Japanese language classes, field trips, dinner/cooking nights and even an overnight trip. These additional opportunities are all designed to add cultural enrichment to your summer abroad experience.
This program is different from any other traditional teaching positions in Japan. Interns will facilitate English conversations with Japanese high school students on a variety of relevant global topics. • Field trips to five religious sites: The Temple-Hebrew Benevolent Congregation, Ebenezer Baptist Church, al-Farooq Mosque, SGI Buddhist Center, and BAPS Hindu Temple
• Guest lectures: Community leaders will speak on topics including sacred architecture, “Religion in the Civil Rights movement,” and “1000 Inventions of the Muslim World.”
• Service learning web design: In teams, students will create a website documenting the sacred spaces of Atlanta, filling a gap in the available information on religious diversity in Atlanta.

The American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham China) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose membership comprises more than 3,800 individuals from over 1,000 companies operating across China. With offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Shenyang and Wuhan, AmCham China has more than 60 working groups, and holds more than 300 events each year. AmCham China is looking for interns for Spring 2016 for several departments, including communications (digital PR and magazine), operations and events, and government affairs. Hanchao Lu was invited to give a presentation at the Sixth World Forum on China Studies, which was held in Shanghai on November 20-21, 2015.
Professor Lu’s presentation was titled “The Pursuit of Happiness in Maoist China: What Can We Learn from It?”. The first three decades of the PRC period is often described as an era of constant political revolution and economic deprivation. Yet Lu contends that pursuit of happiness in everyday life still took place at the time of Mao’s “proletarian dictatorship” and such perseverance formed a type of grassroots resistance to tyranny and ultimately served as the dynamics for the post-Mao reform that brought China’s remarkable resurgence in recent years.
The forum was attended by about 500 scholars from all over the world and featured a dinner with China’s minister of the State Council and the mayor of Shanghai, as well as a visit to the China Art Museum.
