Starting September 16th, in addition to his regular office hours in the Bill Moore Student Success Center, Wednesday morning advising hours will be held in the Clough Commons and dedicated to “Walk-In” advising (no appointment necessary).
Regular appointments can easily be scheduled through your CareerBuzz account (see link below). In CareerBuzz under “MY QUICKLINKS” select ‘Request an Advisor Appointment’. On the next screen you will check "Dennis Lindsay" for name then select the ‘Check Availability’ button. Choose your desired appointment day and time then submit the request.

The student sign-up for the Mock Interviews is done on-line through CareerBuzz and ends January 16, 2014.
The job market for teaching jobs usually opens up in February for private schools and in April for public schools. If you want to apply for positions, your resume needs to be ready to go. Come to this workshop hosted by Susan Belmonte, Pre-Teaching Advisor, and Lanie Damon, Career Advisor.
Bring your resume in whatever state it is. If you do not have one yet, all the more reason to come!
On November 11th, from 6:30-7:30pm, Kinetix Intern Manager and Recruiter, Colleen Fitzgerald, will be leading a workshop on how to Buff Up Your Resume and Increase Your Marketability. She'll also assist you with navigating the basics of creating a stellar online resume.

- 10 ways to stand out to potential employers
- Hands-on assistance from recruiters to help you update your e-resume on the fly
We're meeting on Georgia Tech's campus in Room 101 of the College of Management, which is located at 800 West Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. The room is located on the first floor, near the West Peachtree Street building entrance.

The best place to park is at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center/Technology Square parking deck located at 770 Spring Street, Atlanta, GA 30308. To reach room 101 from the parking deck, cross Spring Street and continue walking up Armstead Place NW. Enter the College of Management building through the last door before West Peachtree Street. Cost
This event is free for anyone with a valid student ID or those who are current Kinetix YPC members. Otherwise, it's $5 at the door.

Career Services is holding a "Resume Blitz" in preparation for the career fair. Recruiters will be available to review IAC resumes Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.00 AM - 3.00 PM in the Student Center, third floor. All majors (IAC and otherwise) can have their resumes reviewed on Friday from 10.00 AM - 3.00 PM in the basement of the Bill Moore Student Success Center.
Susan can also contact HR reps in many counties as well. All applicants still must apply through the each system’s online portal or through www.teachgeorgia.org (depending upon the system).
