Need-based Scholarships for 2016

The Intern Group will provide FOUR scholarship recipients with a professional internship placement in the career field of their choice, high-quality accommodation, full transport - including airfare - as well as visa costs.
The scholarship winners will be able to choose to apply for the program in the following destinations:




Women’s Empowerment Scholarship for 2016

This year The Intern Group will be awarding one scholarship for our award-winning international internship programs to one exceptional female student from a developing country (non-OECD). If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be provided with a professional internship placement in the career field of your choice and quality accommodation. Your living, transport and visa costs will also be paid for by The Intern Group as a part of the scholarship.**

Marshall Scholarship Opportunity

The GT Fellowships Office in coordination with the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is hosting an information session on the Marshall Scholarship opportunity. Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. Up to forty Scholars are selected each year for graduate level study at an UK institution in any field of study. The 2016 application cycle will open this spring. This is your opportunity to learn more about the scholarship and how to make the most competitive application! Join us!

Gilman Scholarship Workshop

The Gilman International Scholarship aims to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad and the countries and regions where they go by offering awards to U.S. undergrads who might otherwise not participate due to financial constraints. OIE and past Gilman Recipients will be hosting a Gilman Workshop to give information about the program and tips on how to craft a competitive application on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 11am-12pm in Student Center #292. Please join OIE for a scholarship information session that will discuss OIE Administered Scholarships, national scholarships, and tips and tricks for crafting a competitive application. The next Scholarship Information Sessions will happen on 3/29/16 at 11am in Student Center #301. Please also remember that the OIE Administered Scholarship Application is open! The next application deadline is April 1, 2016. Students should apply online and are encouraged to apply early! If students have questions or concerns, please email: scholarships@oie.gatech.edu.

Essay Contest: Innovating for Equality

The School for the Future of Innovation in Society is pleased to announce the inaugural Innovation in Society contest, focusing on innovation for equality. Undergraduate students are encouraged to submit an open letter to the future President of the United States addressing the need for policies and initiatives that promote innovation for equality. 




The author of winning entry, judged by a distinguished panel of experts from industry, government policy, and the ASU community, will be awarded a cash scholarship of $1,000. Two second place authors will be awarded $500 cash scholarships, respectively. The top letters will be published on the School for the Future of Innovation in Society website, and brought to the attention of key policy makers.

The ASU School for the Future of Innovation in Society has extended the deadline for the 2016 Innovation in Society contest to March 1.

Campus Services awards five $6,000 scholarships to students who can show they have positively impacted the Institute community through their leadership, scholarship and service.

The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) hosts Law School Recruitment Forums around the country to provide prospective law students with the opportunity to talk directly with representatives from law schools and to gather admission materials from schools throughout the county. These events are free. To save time at a forum, you should pre-register. You have to create a LSAC account to register (and to apply for law school).This is also an excellent way to acquire application fee waivers from law schools! Register here.




Fulbright ETA Preliminary Deadline

The Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) is a wonderful opportunity to study and teach abroad and gain valuable work experience.

It's great if you're interested in going into teaching, but it's an amazing experience even if you're planning on a different career.  A past HTS major did a Fulbright ETA in Indonesia!

The application is due October 13, 2015 5:00 p.m.

Rotary Global Grant Scholarship offers prestigious international scholarships of $30,000 to pursue graduate study abroad in:
  • Peace and conflict prevention/resolution
  • Disease prevention and treatment
  • Water and sanitation
  • Maternal and child health
  • Basic education and literacy
  • Economic and community development

Interested in joining a global organization of dynamic women dedicated to positively impacting the healthcare community?

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Atlanta chapter is currently offering scholarships for young professionals (30 years old and under) who would like to become active members of our organization. The Georgia Tech Student Foundation is looking to award the next J. Erskine Love Jr. Philanthropy Award! The J. Erskine Love Jr. Philanthropy Award is given to a student to recognize his or her outstanding philanthropic contributions to the community. The winner will receive a $250 scholarship and select a philanthropic organization to receive a $1000 donation.
