The Ivan Allen Dean's Office is now accepting applications to join the Ivan Allen College Ambassadors.  HTS MAJORS ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED!  An information session is being held on Wednesday, 1/13 from 9.30 - 11.30 AM.

Students accepted into this program represent the liberal arts at Georgia Tech and act as liaisons between Ivan Allen and prospectives students, guests, alumni, business partners, and friends of Ivan Allen College.

Overview: As a Legal Assistant in Online Product Support, you will work directly with a fast-paced global team. The Online Product Support team deals with complex and unique legal issues online from all over the world by quickly identifying and resolving internal and external customer concerns regarding Google’s removals processes. Among your many attributes, you are comfortable with a rapidly changing environment. You will field incoming issues that are processed through internal tools based on complex internal policies. All the while, you will also be reviewing a high volume of online content. Additionally, you will work with the Legal team to minimize Google's liability in potential content removal suits.

Overview: As a Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll ensure a seamless, candidate-friendly hiring process. You’ll be responsible for keeping the process organized and actively maintaining clear lines of communication with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates. By providing great customer service and smoothly managing all the details, you’ll contribute to the overall success of the Staffing team.

Ivan Allen Shadow Day is fast approaching and we are looking for student volunteers to interact with prospective students. Volunteers will be bringing students to class, giving small tours, or interacting with students at breakfast/lunch. If you could pass along the following information to all faculty to speak about in class, that would be greatly appreciated. Shadow Day is an important day to show off our programs to prospective students and we need as many volunteers as possible to make it happen.

The Ivan Allen College is hosting an open house, to feature all of the great schools in the college, from 11.00 AM - 12.00 PM on Thursday the 16th (tomorrow).  The HTS students who were going to volunteer are no longer able to attend, so I need help!  If you could volunteer for one hour to help share your enthusiasm about HTS with prospective students from around Georgia Tech, please email me ASAP!  Thanks!

Consulting Career Expo
You are invited to the 2013 Consulting Career Expo at Georgia Tech hosted by the Undergraduate Consulting Club and Alpha Phi Mu(APM) . The Consulting Career Expo is an annual event where top consulting firms present an in-depth look into consulting. This is great opportunity to learn about the type of projects and services consultants work in. This is also a great way to network and see what recruitment opportunities are available. This year we are looking to host Deloitte, IBM, Accenture, Ernst & Young and AT Kearney. Dates and location details are in the table below. The event is free to attend for all Georgia Tech undergraduate students.

Southern Teachers Agency will be holding a Recruitment Fair in Atlanta on February 9.

While academic prestige and national reputation are important, they are not the only factors students and families consider when making that all-important college decision. HTS needs volunteers for the Women's Recruitment Team event FUTURES!
FUTURES is a campus-wide recruiting event for high school women, with attendance of about 400 women and their families expected this year.

It is being held on Monday, November 21st from 10.00 - 11.30 AM, and there will be an academic information fair at which HTS will have a table. Two volunteers are needed to help staff the table with Dr. D'Unger, one from 10.00 - 10.45 AM and one from 10.45 - 11.30 AM.
