Georgetown University’s Semester in Washington, D.C. Program (SWP) provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their professional skills and broaden their academic experience in the heart of the nation’s capital. Three full-time internships are available in Singapore and selected interns are expected to start work in either January or February 2016 for a three-month period. Interns will assist in carrying out research and processing quantitative and qualitative data for use in PSU studies, preparation of policy and research reports, and update and manage socio-economic databases as well as perform other duties as assigned by PSU staff. Internships at The Palestine Center
Summer interns coordinate a summer lecture series, conduct in-depth research on a topic related to the Palestine issue and assist with Palestine Center briefings, film screenings and symposia. All interns are encouraged to attend relevant events in the area during their internship and to pursue avenues of research that are of personal interest to them, provided the research relates to the work of the Center. The Palestine Center staff provides guidance on research and logistics, helps to educate interns on the Palestinian issue and advises them as needed on career development. This internship is unpaid.
