The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy is currently accepting applications for its Fall Policy Internship Program. The application deadline is June 17, 2016. Students who are U.S. citizens and who will be enrolled in, or have just graduated from, an academic program should feel free to apply.

The Émigré Memorial German Internship Program–German State Parliaments (EMGIP) is a fellowship program that provides U.S. and Canadian students with internships at a German state parliament (Landtag).

Internships afford students an excellent opportunity to gain government work experience, improve their advanced German language skills, and learn about German culture firsthand.

The Federal Jackets Fellowship offers $7,500 to help defray the cost of living while interning in Washington, D.C. during the fall and spring ($5,000 during the summer). The American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham China) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose membership comprises more than 3,800 individuals from over 1,000 companies operating across China. With offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Shenyang and Wuhan, AmCham China has more than 60 working groups, and holds more than 300 events each year. The U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Internship Program

America’s foreign policy is designed to amplify the nation’s voice and extend its reach in areas critical to the daily lives of its citizens. We work to ensure our country’s diplomatic leadership enhances our economic, food, and energy security and stability, and reflects The U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program (USFSIP) is a paid, intensive internship offering U.S. citizen undergraduate students a chance to participate in the formulation and implementation of U.S. foreign policy, working closely with representatives of the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign and Civil Services. The program is both professionally and academically beneficial, providing participants with hands-on experience and insight into the substance and daily operations of U.S. foreign policy. Training modules on diplomatic history, professional writing and career skills provide additional benefits compared to the typical internship.

We are looking for outstanding students with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, knowledge, and exceptional analytical and leadership skills to participate in a two-summer program that will provide exposure to real-world diplomacy. From June to August, selected students will work in Washington, D.C. where they will experience classroom education about America’s foreign policy and work on a policy desk. In a similar period during the following year, they will take their newfound knowledge and apply it in a U.S. Embassy overseas.

To be considered for USFSIP, a student must:

• Be a U.S. citizen;
• Be a current college sophomore or junior;
• Have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA;
• Plan to return to school the year following the first summer internship.

To apply to USFSIP, a student must:

• Fully complete the USFSIP application when open at USAJobs; 
• Upload transcript(s);
• Upload the Student Aid Report from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
• Provide names and contact information for two references to submit to the USFSIP staff.

Summer 2015 Internships: Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration
