Compensation = stipend + housing + meals
Teaching Assistants must have a minimum of two years of college, including some concentrated study in subject areas relevant to Duke TIP courses. Candidates nearing completion of undergraduate coursework or currently pursuing graduate-level studies are preferred. Teaching Assistant positions for undergraduate students qualify for Pre-Teaching internship credit through the Center for Career Discovery and Development (CCDD – formerly Division of Professional Practice/DoPP). Instructor positions require a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of graduate coursework, professional work experience, and/or teaching experience with specific emphasis in the course-related subject area
