The Georgia Tech Student Foundation gives GRANTS to students and student organizations for activities or projects that enhance the educational experience by adding value to what is received in the classrooms, laboratories, and ongoing extracurricular programs. They meet twice a year to allocate funds for different Georgia Tech Student Initiatives. Their internal committee encourages students and organizations to submit proposals and requests for funds for committee review. Afterwards, they will listen to the presentations by the students and organizations, and the committee members composed of Development Committee, Investments Committee, and Board of Trustee members, will discuss each proposal and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees. Each semester, the Georgia Tech Student Foundation allocates an average of $15,000 to various student groups and activities. Allocations are supported by the interest and dividends of the endowment. This fall’s Allocations Application is available now. The deadline for applications is Sunday, September 22nd, 2013. Please go to http://gtsf.gatech.edu/forms/allocations-application to apply.
