Campus Community Partnership Foundation

If you are distressed by all the bad news about education in Georgia – which includes one of the worst high school graduation rates in the country – the Mentor Walk provides you a chance to do something about it.

You can help! No need for special training or heavy lifting. Just come walk and engage a student in conversation about school and mentoring. Tell the child why you think staying in school is important. Encourage others to become mentors.  It is designed to have children walk with college students as “near peer" role models.

Come walk with us to:
  • Inspire children to finish high school and attend college by walking with them, their parents, and the Atlanta community
  • Celebrate mentoring and recognize existing mentoring programs
  • Emphasize the importance of exercise and healthy living at our health expo
  • Provide mentors from different groups an opportunity to meet one another and share their experiences, stories, and tips
