Being invited to interview for a position is an exciting but stressful part of any job search. Many people are unclear about what to expect from a “face to face” interview. This workshop will provide you with strategies for successful interviews and help you understand the following components: The Basic Interview Process, Answering Standard Questions, Answering Non-Standard Questions, Answering Questions about Compensation, Asking Your Questions, Interpersonal Skills and Professional Appearance & Demeanor.

In addition, we will discuss how to handle unacceptable interview scenarios, i.e., threatening scenarios or scenarios in which your legal rights are in question. This portion of the workshop will offer suggestions for professionally handling the following: Inappropriate Personal Questions, Sexual Harassment, Illegal Questions/Requests, & Illegal Procedures.
A panel of experts will guide you through these processes and take questions.
