If so, then you can apply for this scholarship!

Since 1990, the Georgia Tech Faculty Women's Club offers scholarships to qualified Tech undergraduate students with a parent or guardian who works at the Institute.

To date, 118 scholarships totaling $78,550 have been awarded. To be eligible, students must have completed at least one semester at Georgia Tech.

The deadline for applications is March 1. 


Selection will take place in March and April, and will be based on grades from the fall semester as well as past academic performance.  Click "Read More" for more details.

Funding for the scholarships is provided by donations from the Georgia Tech Faculty Women's Club through the Georgia Tech Foundation. Awarded scholarships are disbursed through the Georgia Tech Financial Aid Office.

Guidelines for Selection of Recipients


Based on available funds and number of applicants, the selection committee will award up to five grants of $1,000 each to undergraduate students earning their degrees no later than December 2010.

 
Applicants must be Georgia Tech students and have an overall GPA of 2.75 or above.
 

Applicants parents or guardians must be current employees of Georgia Tech.
 

Applicants can apply the scholarship to any legitimate Georgia Tech expense: tuition, fees, books, room and board.
