Congratulations to HSOC Alum Danielle Sharpe!

GT Alum Joyce Danielle Sharpe will graduate with her Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Florida this spring. She successfully defended her master's thesis, which compared the trends of influenza-related searches, tweets, and views from Google, Twitter, and Wikipedia to flu trends reported by the CDC to assess how correlated the trends are. She will be attending Emory University for the PhD in Epidemiology program starting this fall.
