Required skills include:

    Excellent writing and oral communications skills (including proof reading);
    Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint;
    Experience with Google docs and forms; and
    Ability to create digital and print media, such as flyers, brochures, digital ads, etc.

Preferred skills include:

    Experience with blogging software, especially Drupal;
    Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop; and
    Experience maintaining websites using a content management system.

Tasks include:

    Basic office work (copying, filing, compiling mailings, etc.);
    Maintaining the HSOC blog, which will be hosted on Drupal;
    Creating hard copy and digital advertising;
    Maintaining databases of HSOC alums and prospective students; and
    Other tasks, as needed.

The pay is $10 an hour for approximately 8 - 10 hours per week, beginning the first or second week of school.  The position is available for the spring and summer 2016 semesters.  There is a possibility that it will be extended into fall as well, but that's TBD.

Want to apply?  Email your resume and a statement about your relevant experience to Dr. D'Unger at amy.dunger@hsoc.gatech.edu. Any examples of work you've done in the past (e.g., graphic design, websites) should be included in your application materials.
