- Employment will begin as soon as possible, and it will continue until June 27 (it is possible that this term of employment may be extended)
- Students may work up to 20 hours a week, between the hours of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (at least 10-15 hours per week is preferable)
- Students will be working with original historical materials housed in the Archives, performing tasks such as reboxing materials, barcoding boxes and/or books, creating inventories on spreadsheets, and other duties as assigned
- Accuracy and attention to detail are important aspects of this position
- Payment is $10 per hour
The Georgia Tech Archives (along with the Library) is preparing for a move of some of its collections to an offsite storage facility that will be shared with Emory University. The GT Archives is looking to hire two student assistants to help with the move and have indicated that they have had "consistently excellent student assistants from HTS in the past."
