GEORGIA GOVERNOR'S HONORS PROGRAM SEEKING INSTRUCTORS
The Governor's Honors Program is a residential summer program and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program. The program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom. It is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
The Governor's Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) is currently seeking instructors in Social Studies/History/Cultural Studies, Design and Engineering, Mathematics/Computer Programming, Agricultural Science, French, Natural Science/Biology/Anatomy as well as a Librarian/Media Specialist. Graduate students and professors may apply.
GHP runs from June 21 - July 18, 2015 at Valdosta State College.
The position provides room/board at Valdosta State University for the duration of the summer program and a stipend of $5,000. The position posting can also be found at here.
