Sign Up For Mock Interview Week

Posted by Admin On 2:49:00 PM
The student sign-up for the Mock Interviews is done on-line through CareerBuzz and it starts December 15th, 2014 - January 11, 2015. Practice your interview skills with REAL employers!
Mock Interviews are held by employers from various companies at the Center for Career Discovery and Development. These employers are here to help you practice your interviewing skills. Do not miss the opportunity to get honest, positive feedback from employers, and also be able to ask questions of employers you have always been afraid to ask before.

EVENT: MOCK INTERVIEW WEEK
WHEN: January 13 – January 16, 2015
SIGN-UP TIME FRAME: You can sign-up online between December 15, 2014–January 11, 2015.
SIGN–UP:
Log in to your CAREERBUZZ account at www.career.gatech.edu
Click on JOBS tab on your CareerBuzz homepage and select CSM Jobs from the dropdown
Under SHOW ME select ALL JOBS & INTERVIEWS
In the KEYWORD search box type in Mock Interviews
Select a company to sign up for an interview time slot (please make sure you scroll down the page and go to the additional pages to locate all mock interviews)

You will be able to see all the companies that will be holding Mock Interviews on campus. Mock Interview sign-ups are first come, first-served basis.

INTERVIEW LENGTH: All interviews will be 45 minutes – 30 minute practice interview and 15 minutes for feedback.

LOCATION: All interviews are being held in the Student Success Center Basement.

Please only sign up for ONE interview time slot during the Mock Interview Week! All your mock interviews will be canceled if you sign up for more than one interview. We want to give as many students as possible the opportunity to sign up for an interview. If there are time slots still open closer to the event, you will have the opportunity to sign up for additional interview time slots.

The same late cancellation and no show policies apply for Mock Interviews as for On-campus recruiting.

Students are expected to prepare for these interviews. The companies participating are listed on each schedule for each day. In preparation for this event, students must:

  • Research the company
  • Prepare appropriate questions
  • Dress appropriately
  • Bring a resume and BE PREPARED!
This event is open to all students. Do not miss the opportunity to participate. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Andrea Comsa at andrea.comsa@gatech.edu or Mary Fisher at mary.fisher@gatech.edu
