Work with the founding Dean, and former assistant director of the National Science Foundation, of the College of Computing on an archival history project about the CoC at Georgia Tech! Tasks will include such things as updating and formatting an historical timeline with information, putting citations into proper format, and going to the library and archives and digging out/fact checking information.
The project should take 40 - 60 hours over the next few months, with a possibility of an additional 40 - 50 hours after that. This is a PAID position, $10 per hour, up to a maximum of $1500.
The potential internship candidate should be:
dependable
responsive by email/phone
familiar with appropriate citation styles
well versed in MS Word and Excel
knowledge of website creation a bonus
familiar with (or willing to get familiar with quickly) the GT library and/or GT Archives
a strong writer
