Nancy Langston will be our HTS grad forum speaker on Monday, October 27, speaking about "Mining, Toxics, and Environmental Justice.” Nancy Langston is a Professor at Michigan Technological University, specializing in environmental history and the history of environmental justice movements. She is the past president of the American Society for Environmental History and a past editor of the journal Environmental History. She has written books on the history of endocrine disruption and the politics of deforestation. Her new project is on human and environmental health in the Great Lakes region.
