His family lived in Germany for 450 years. When the Nazis came to power in 1933, antisemitism became the law of the land and Jewish families like the Kohns were no longer welcome. Then, on November 9th and 10th of 1938, eleven year old Herbert witnessed Kristallnacht - the "Night of Broken Glass" - which is widely regarded as the dawn of the Holocaust. Mr. Kohn will tell his remarkable story of survival and then answer question.
