The second annual Atlanta Studies Symposium will be held at Georgia State University on April 4, 2014 at Centennial Hall starting with coffee and muffins at 8:30 and concluding with a wine reception at 6 p.m. In between, attend talks from scholars from around the country whose work focuses on Atlanta, including keynote addresses by LeeAnn Lands (author of The Culture of Property: Race, Class, and Housing Landscapes in Atlanta 1880-1950) and Clarence Stone (author of Regime Politics: Governing Atlanta, 1946-1988).
