The intern/student assistant will learn to organize and preserve archival collections (manuscripts, photographs, architectural drawings and digital objects) in the Library Archives. Arrangement and describe collections both paper and digital and learn valuable research methods while working in an archives. Creates and posts Encoded Archival Description (EAD) and other finding aids on the Archives’ web site. Assist in identifying and collecting digital archival materials including campus publications, which are selected for web access via the library-run Georgia Tech Institutional Repository (IR), currently run on DSpace software.
