The Workshop in U.S. History at Emory University will host a graduate student conference on November 15 and 16 on the Emory campus. The keynote address will be given by Professor Bethany Moreton of the University of Georgia, entitled "Sanctifying Service: Spiritual Responses to Postindustrial Work."
Those planning to attend need to preregister at http://history.emory.edu/home/conferences/atl-grad-student-conf-us-history/registration.php. Lunch on Saturday will be provided for those who have preregistered. For those who plan to attend only the keynote address, preregistration is not necessary.
