The Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. D'Unger, is hiring a student assistant to begin in January 2014. Student must be able to work through spring and fall of 2014, with the possibility of extending into 2015.
Student must be very organized, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and able to multi-task and work without supervision. Ability to follow directions and attention to detail are a must. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and familiar with working with blogs and other social media (e.g., Twitter, Blogger, Facebook). Student must be able to manage databases and complete effective web searches. Ability to design posters, brochures, and media content with Photoshop and InDesign is required.
Responsibilities include maintaining the HTS blog (www.hts.gatech.edu/blog), designing web content (images, documents), designing promotional materials such as posters and brochures, maintaining student and alumni records, and basic administrative tasks (filing, photocopying, etc.)
