Human resource representatives from the following school systems will be present to discuss their hiring process for teachers: Atlanta Public Schools, Cobb County, DeKalb County, Fulton County, Gwinnett County, Henry County, and Rockdale County. Marietta City and City Schools of Decatur may also attend.

Attendees will have the chance to learn about how to apply for jobs, what types of candidates systems look for as well as meet individually with the HR representatives. Susan Belmonte, Pre-Teaching Advisor, will discuss teaching certification, and Lanie Damon, Career Services, will discuss interview etiquette and general job search tips.

All majors are welcome to attend.

No R.S.V.P. needed. Attendees should be present starting at 11:00 or closely thereafter if a class ends at 11:05. Attendees should plan to stay for as much of the event as possible

Contact Susan Belmonte, Pre-Teaching Advisor, sbelmonte@gatech.edu or 404.385.3494 for more information.
