Institute Communications is currently seeking a student assistant to work within their Special Events & Protocol division. Housed within Campus Communications and Special Events, the student assistant will work with the Special Events & Protocol manager and coordinator to plan Institute-level events, including Commencement, Faculty & Staff Honors Luncheon, Student Honors Luncheon, Retirement Dinner, and other large scale initiatives. Ideally, the student assistant candidate will be a 2nd or 3rd year, who has the ability to maintain the position for multiple semesters.

Interviews will be held October 1 - 12, 2012, with minimal training beginning in the latter part of this fall semester. The position formally begins in January 2013 and provides a competitive salary, flexible work hours, and multiple opportunities to interact with prominent Institute officials, outside vendors, campus communicators, and members of the Georgia Tech community.
