The American Red Cross Club at Georgia Tech meets tonight. We are encouraging all undergrads, pre-med or not, to come join us for our meeting tonight at 8:00 pm in D.M. Smith in Room 105.
The ARCC will provide Red Cross initiatives and address biomedical, health and safety issues of the local community and students of GT. We also provide volunteer events and information to students, off-campus and on-campus. Some of the few organizations that we have worked with include Atlanta Humane Society, MedShare, Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta Community Food Bank and much more. We also coordinate Community Disaster Relief (CDE) training as well as CPR training to those that are interested.
There are many reasons to join American Red Cross Club this year. We coordinate the blood drives on campus, have many community service events, give leadership opportunities to those that are interested and provide many other ways to stand out for graduate school, medical school, jobs and internships. Our main goal is to get Georgia Tech involved with helping others in need and we need your help to get started! I
f you are interested in saving lives, helping others, getting involved on campus or looking for a leadership position, please come to our meeting tonight.
