Athletics Tutors Needed

The Athletic Association's Hearn Academic Center has job openings for academic tutors in the following subjects for the school year 2011-2012.  Our specific Spring 2012 needs are:

Biology
Chemistry
Earth & Atmospheric Sciences
History
Physics
Psychology 
Sociology
Economics
Math
Management
Public Policy
International Affairs 


Priority Tutoring Needs: EAS 1600, 1601, 2600; PSYC 1101; SOC 1101; ECON 2105, 2106; MATH 1113-2602; ACCT 2101, 2102; MGT 2106, 2250, 3062
Requirements include:
  • You have at least sophomore level standing with the Institute. 
  • You have earned a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • You have earned B's, preferably A's, in the course. 
  • You provide a resume & written recommendation, preferably from a professor or TA.
Tutoring with the Athletic Association is an excellent way to help other students, ensure your knowledge before graduate or licensure examinations, build your resume, and gain job skills while becoming proficient in your major and earning a little money.  Beginning pay for undergraduates is $10.00/hour and $12.00/hour for graduate students.
