This is a reminder that the deadline to register for the October GACE test is tomorrow (Friday, September 2nd at 5:00 p.m.)

Here is the web site: http://www.gace.nesinc.com/GA6_testdates.asp

Who needs to take the GACE in October?

Anyone who wants to get hired right now, or in the spring (like a December graduate) on a "provisional" certificate.

Students planning on applying to the KSU MAT programs in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology for Summer admission can also take it now (but you could wait until January).

Remember, you can exempt the Basic Skills test with an SAT score of 1000 or higher*, but all people who become certified teachers will take the Content Assessment exam(s) in their teaching field(s) as part of the certification process.

Please email, call, or schedule an appointment with Beth Spencer if you have any questions or concerns.

The Undergraduate Studies Resource Room has a set of Study Guides for most GACE subjects. Please let me know if you'd like to check one or more out.

When I was preparing for GACE than I thought I couldn’t make it by first time but help by GACE study guides and online course made it very easy for me. There are some questions which were too difficult like social studies epic question which are too difficult to remember but GACE study guides always a big help. The group of tests I took was for Multiple-subject teaching-- for grades K-8. This test asked me everything and the kitchen sink. For the teachers who are planning to be in high school but all these things matter while you are doing good preparation. I crack it second time using only by reference books and online course. . Thought sharing with you all.
