Centennial Place Annual One Academic Fair

Centennial Place Elementary School will host their annual One Academic Fair on Thursday, November 17, 2011. They are seeking qualified judges to help them reward exemplary work and encourage aspiring scientists, mathematicians, and technological scholars.  Please consider being one of their judges, and feel free to invite any colleagues who might also enjoy this opportunity.'

Centennial Place is a high-achieving theme school focusing on science, mathematics and technology. Their curriculum is project-based which promotes hands-on experimentation using the scientific method in all disciplines. The One Academic Fair combines the disciplines of Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Technology. Their school has already started preparing for the One Academic Fair, and students and teachers are working hard to produce high-quality projects.

Quality judging is vital for them to maintain high standards of excellence in this fair. With this in mind, they would like to cordially invite you and your colleagues to serve as a judge for the "One Academic Fair" event on Thursday, November 17, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. The schedule for judging the fair is listed below.
 
  1. Arrival/Coffee & Refreshments:  8:00 a.m.-8:15 a.m.
  2. Judging Process Orientation:  8:15 a.m.-8:30 a.m.
  3. Project Evaluation:  8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. * Lunch will be served for judges
  4. Ribbon Placement:  1:30 p.m.-2:15 p.m.
