Be the Change Day

Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity is asking for you to join them on October 1st for Be the Change, a national day of service in honor of Mahatma Gandhi. They are looking for volunteers to attend the various service opportunities provided around Atlanta. Be the Change is coordinated by South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) that inspires and fosters civic engagement through volunteerism and community service. 


This year’s theme of Be the Change is “Giving Forward,” which reflects importance of helping the people in need today to allow them to help the people in need tomorrow. They look forward to getting any assistance possible to help make this event successful for the community.



The schedule for the day is the following:

7:00am - 8:00am: Registration and Free Breakfast - Kessler Campanile near the Georgia Tech Student Center
8:00am - 8:30am: Guest Speaker - Kessler Campanile
8:30am - 9:00am: Travel to Service Site
9:00am - 1:00pm: Volunteer Event - Various locations around Atlanta metropolitan area
