American Cancer Society Internships

The American Cancer Society is looking to staff several positions in “Winter, open-ended" as described below. These internships are paid.  

Candidate Requirements:
GPA: 2.7 or higher
Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Hours per week: 20-40

Interactive Marketing Specialist (2):
  • Assist with Analytics reporting, using Google Analytics and Omniture. Duties include learning the tools, working with business owners to pull ad hoc reports, and analyzing traffic patterns to make meaningful content recommendations
  • Create interactive feature assessments for several ACS digital programs
  • Contribute to interactive feaes testing
  • Analyze user behavior on ACS digital properties and contribute to new program recommendations
  • Distill performance data into actionable insights explained in a clear, concise way
  • Research trends in interactive marketing and keep marketing teams appraised of new developments
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements to ACS digital programs
  • Work to continuously improve upon search engine optimization and search engine marketing programs
  • Perform QA of enhancements to ACS web properties.
