The Georgia Tech student organization, Think Impact, works with global development and humanitarian education. One of their local projects is a tutoring/pen pal project at Centennial Place Elementary off of Luckie Street close to campus. They work with fourth and fifth graders and have a pen pal project set up with another school in Kenya where they have a non-profit based.
Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Nicole Morado at nmorado@gatech.edu. The program will be flexible and the schedule will be organized around the volunteer's schedule.
