The contest is open to anyone over the age of 18. We encourage college and university students, government employees, and others to participate by creating a short video – up to five minutes in length – depicting the value of government employees and/or what our nation would look like without them. We want contestants to consider the vital services performed by government employees on behalf of the American people and what would happen if public servants simply disappeared.
Cash prizes will be awarded to two winners – one overall winner chosen by the Partnership and one people’s choice award chosen by online viewers. Contestants are encouraged to ask their family and friends to vote for their video once it’s approved by Partnership staff.
All videos must be submitted to http://www.vimeo.com/groups/psrw by April 17, 2011 at Midnight EST. To learn more, please see the attached program flier and read the Contest Guidelines and Assignment Summary.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact PSRW staff at psrw@ourpublicservice.org or 202-775-9111.
