Do you have an idea for a product or service that addresses a community or social issue, or helps preserve the environment?
If so, the Ideas to SERVE (I2S) Competition is for you. Open to current Georgia Tech students and recent alumni, the I2S is a competition of ideas where creativity, imagination, and technology are applied to solving community and social issues and sustaining our environment.
Applications are due by Monday, February 28. As part of the application, students must fill out an online registration form and submit an executive summary as well as a one-minute video pitching their business concept.
Those chosen to participate will go on to the Poster Competition at 6 p.m. March 10 in Thornton Atrium (College of Management building). The final round and awards ceremony, called Students Who IMPACT, will be held at 4:30 p.m. March 16 in LeCraw Auditorium in the Management building.
Up to $6,000 in cash awards and prizes will be given to the ideas with most potential to create social value.
I2S is organized by Georgia Tech’s Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
