Congratulation to Joel Hewett, an Ivan Allen Graduate Student Legacy Award Winner for 2011. This is in recognition of his work last summer as an intern at the Carter Center, working on electronic voting procedures for countries struggling towards democracy, that led on to his recruitment as a Researcher for the President's National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling.Joel is our Kranzberg Graduate Fellow, supported by the B&B Stern Foundation. He will talk about his work on the Commission at the Graduate Forum on March 28.
