Boren Awards Information Session (Undergraduate and Graduate Students)
Thursday, November 4, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Savant Building, Room 308
On Thursday, November 4th, a representative from the Washington, D.C.-based National Security Education Program will be speaking with interested students about the Boren Awards for International Study.
Boren Scholarships and Fellowships provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to add an important international and language component to their educations. The program focuses on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are critical to U.S. national security, broadly defined, and underrepresented in study abroad.
Undergraduate Boren Scholars are awarded up to $20,000 for an academic year and Boren Fellows are awarded up to $30,000 for two academic years. Additional information on preferred geographic regions, languages and fields of study and application procedures can be found at www.borenawards.org.
Please attend the session to find out more about this prestigious opportunity!
