2010 Summer Internship Program

The Demographic Directorate of the United States Census Bureau is
currently accepting applications for the 2010 Summer Internship Program.
 

This opportunity is a paid, ten-week program starting around June 1, 2010.  The program offers interns an opportunity to work within the Data Integration Division, the Housing and Household Economic Statistics Division, or the Population Division. Interns will work on a variety of topics such as survey design, data record linkage, population distribution, educational attainment, poverty, housing, family relationships, and population estimates or projections.

All of these opportunities represent a chance to investigate a wide variety of social, demographic, and economic conditions in the United States or internationally.  The program consists of a combination of substantive work and a series of training seminars. We seek highly motivated individuals at all education levels with excellent analytic, quantitative, computer and communication skills.
