The Center for Academic Success if offering two programs for students wishing to improve their academic performance--the Success Summit (this Friday) and the ReBoot program.  Both are free and open to anyone wishing to improve their performance, not just those who have below a 2.20 GPA.

Reboot is an academic recovery program for first- and second-year students who are not meeting their own academic expectations. This program provides students an extended opportunity to work with staff members and to develop customized success plans. Cohort members also gain access to additional academic support services including tutoring, workshops, academic coaching, PLUS sessions, and study hours. If you are a first or second-year student with a cumulative GT GPA of 2.2 or lower, Reboot could be an important part of your plan for academic success. Students can register now, at success.gatech.edu. The Fall 2013 program will meet on Fridays from 1:05-1:55. The first session will be on Friday, August 30th, in Clough Commons (room TBA).

The Success Summit (this Friday, 23 August!) is a halfday program especially designed for Tech students who are on Academic Probation or Warning and who want to make changes and move into Good Standing. Students attending the Summit can choose from panels and workshops on various topics to help them set and achieve academic goals this semester. The Summit is on Friday, August 23rd, in the afternoon, from 1:00-4:30, in Clough Commons. For more information, and to register, go to success.gatech.edu.
