This year The Intern Group will be awarding one scholarship for our award-winning international internship programs to one exceptional female student from a developing country (non-OECD). Diversity Abroad

Are you interning abroad in the 2016-2017 academic year?
Diversity Abroad, in cooperation with the AIFS, will offer a $500 stipend for fall 2016 and spring 2017. Five stipends are available for each term.
Overseas Ambassadors serve during a 4-6 month time frame, depending on the length of their chosen study abroad program.
To apply for the Overseas Ambassador Program, please complete the scholarship applicationhere (http://bit.ly/DAAmbassadors) . The application deadline for all submissions is June 1st, 2016 at 5:00pm EST.

Completed applications should be submitted to the Registrar's Office. Please keep in mind you must submit your application by Georgia Tech's deadline, which are before ARCHE deadlines for submission. Deadlines are printed in the Academic Calendar. ARCHE deadlines for application submission are for the cross-registration coordinator to forward all approved cross-registration applications to the host institutions:

White House Internship Program

The President, First Lady, and staff are committed to providing young leaders from all across the nation an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and gain exposure to the public service sector through the White House Internship Program. This program was developed to provide hands-on experience and cultivate such skills.

In addition to the White House Internship Program being available to young leaders who are at least 18 years old, the D.C. Scholars Program is a part-time internship opportunity for young leaders in public and charter high schools within the District of Columbia.

Summer Teach-In

The International Human Trafficking Institute (IHTI) invites students and youth activists to Atlanta, the think tank of the American Civil Rights Movement, for a Summer Teach-In, on how to plan, strategize, and ignite an activist movement on campus.


IHTI will host a two-day session (July 22-23) at The Center for Civil and Human Rights designed for students who wish to organize their peers for social change engagement. While the focus is student engagement to end human trafficking, these strategies and principles may be applied toward addressing any social injustice.

Congressional Research Grants

DEADLINE: All proposals must be received no later than April 1, 2016.

The Dirksen Congressional Center invites applications for grants to fund research on congressional leadership and the U.S. Congress. The Center, named for the late Senate Minority Leader Everett M. Dirksen, is a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit research and educational organization devoted to the study of Congress. Since 1978, the Congressional Research Grants program has invested more than $998,026 to support over 451 projects.


Applications are accepted at any time, but the deadline is April 1 for the annual selections, which are announced in May.

The Center has allocated up to $50,000 in 2016 for grants with individual awards capped at $3,500.

MSMS Russell Fellows Program

10-month Masters of Management Studies program at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management: 

In short, this program targets graduating seniors with liberal arts, science and/or math majors who would like to gain a foundation in business before jumping into the workforce. The program runs for 10-months on the Kellogg Chicago campus.

This year's deadline is April 12.

Since 2012, Gilder Lehrman has awarded fifteen of the best and brightest American History and American Studies college juniors and seniors to spend five days in New York City to participate in meetings with eminent scholars, experience behind-the-scenes tours of historic archives, and enjoy a celebratory dinner in their honor.

Applications are due by April 15, but the deadline can be extended to accommodate for transcripts and letters of recommendation.

Withdrawal Deadline

Wednesday March 16th is the last day to drop individual courses or withdraw from school with "W" grades in all courses and receive a refund. It is also the deadline for changing grade mode from pass/fail to letter grade or vice versa.
