While it can seem like Earth Day is the one time a year that people stop and think about what it means to be green, companies are increasingly building a commitment to the environment - and doing business sustainably - into their DNA.
And it's a good thing too: New recruits - especially the upcoming and most recent batches of college grads - want to work for do-gooder companies, and the public likes to buy products that give back, or at very least, promise not to leave a trail of pollution in their wake.
