Application and Action of Leading Change through Social Entrepreneurship
Where: Georgia Tech
When: February 18 - 20, 2011
Who: all ACC Campuses are invited to bring a delegation
Georgia Tech will have a delegation of 6 students and 1 advisor
How: All interested students must submit their application by December 3rd, 2010
Cost: Free - The ACC covers all costs for the conference
The 2011 ACC Leadership Conference is a three day leadership learning opportunity to engage with peers across the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and hone our talents and resources in solving social justice issues that matter to today’s college student. Fulfilling their commitment to develop and support student leaders of all its member institutions, the ACC proudly supports and makes possible the fourth annual ACC Student Leadership Conference.

The 2011 ACC Leadership Conference is focused on the theme of applying leadership skills to impact change through social entrepreneurship. Students from each participating university will be grouped with peers from their fellow ACC schools. Over the course of the 2011 ACC Leadership Conference, students will learn through interactive and dynamic workshop sessions, keynotes, and a hands-on small group project about leading change through Social Entrepreneurship in regards to the following 13 global issues:
1- Domestic Education
2- International Education
3- International Health
4- Domestic Health
5- Domestic Environment
6- International Environment
7- Hunger
8- Human Trafficking
9- Homelessness
10- Refugees
11- Natural Disasters/Emergency Response 12- Animal Rights
13- Gender Issues
