The Collective Defense of Democracy in Latin America in the 21st Century
A four part panel discussion will be presented by The Center for Latin American and Latino/a Studies, The Center for Human Rights and Democracy, GSU Political Science Department, and The Carter Center on Monday, March 15th, 2010 at the Rialto Theater at Georgia State University.
Admission is free and the event is open to the public. The event begins at 3:00pm and ends at 7:15pm
The panels include:
- Democratic Crises and International Response: Trends in Latin America (3:00pm-3:30pm)
- Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Venezuela (3:30pm-4:45pm)
- Bolivia and Honduras (5:00pm-6:15pm)
- Collective Defense of Democracy in the Americas: Analysis and the Proposals (6:15pm-7:00pm)
