Ivan Allen College Paper Competition Winners Announced

On Thursday, March 10, the annual Career, Research, and Innovation Development Conference (CRIDC) poster competition took place in the Georgia Tech Student Center. At the conference, the winners of the fourth annual Ivan Allen College Graduate Student Paper Competition and Conference were announced during the conference’s awards ceremony. The paper conference increases in number every year and graduate students from a variety of programs within the College present research at the conference.




Each year, the winning papers are awarded significant prizes in the form of travel funds, which enable graduate students to present their work at professional conferences in their fields. The winners of this year’s paper competition were Jon Schmid (first prize), Yin Li (second prize), Sooa Lee, Mario Bianchini, and Renee Shelby (tied for third prize).
