Global Internship Opportunity

Posted by Admin On 11:21:00 AM
Georgia Tech Pre-Teaching and the Office of International Education (OIE) have partnered to offer the first-ever Pre-Teaching global internship!

Summer, 6 month or one year opportunities exist in Hong Kong and Singapore for undergraduates.

First Code Academy (FCA) is the first and leading education company that offers mobile app and programing development courses for pre-university students in Asia.

FCA is looking for students who are passionate about software engineering, have experience in tutoring pre-teens or teens (in any subject), and have an entrepreneurial and startup mindset. AppJamming Extensive is FCA’s flagship program, first launched in 2013 with the sponsorship of Google Hong Kong. FCA has been featured on CNN, in The Huffington Post, and many others.

In 2015, 112 students applied from best universities across the world, and only 7 were hired. This is a very competitive position. You could be one of the 2016 interns!

An internship is an excellent way to discover is teaching is a good career choice for you. Interning abroad gives you the chance to travel, live in a different culture, and grow professionally and personally.

Internships can be from June – August (summer), June – December (6 months) or June – May (one year).

Interns do not have to be U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents to apply for FCA. Students should be aware that work visas may be required, and requirements/timelines for work visas may differ depending on citizenship.
