Openings on the Robogals Executive Board

Posted by Admin On 11:34:00 AM

Robogals is an international, student-run organization aimed at increasing female participation in STEM through hands-on activities targeted towards elementary and middle school girls. They do this by engaging girls in the Atlanta area in these topics with school visits and fun activities using LEGO NXT robots.

The organization is currently looking for two new board members.  The two positions that are open are;

1. Secretary/Treasurer: In this position, you will be the second in command. You will keep the executive board organized while making note of new objectives, keeping track of Robogal funds and bank account, and applying for funding for events.

2. Training Manager: As the training manager, you will make lesson plans for each of Robogals' workshops and teach new members how to effectively use the LEGO NXT software.

Being a part of our executive team is a great leadership role both on campus and in the Atlanta community. To apply, you don't need to have previous experience with Robogals Georgia Tech.  For more information visit  http://robogals.org/

Applications close on January 29th.  To apply, go to http://goo.gl/forms/gh44JD7hqx.
