KIPP METRO ATLANTA SCHOOLS JOIN SHADOW A TEACHER PROGRAM

KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools have joined the Pre-Teaching shadow program! KIPP operates free, open-enrollment, public charter schools. Admission to KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools is granted to students regardless of prior academic record, conduct, or socioeconomic background. Over 95 percent of KIPP students are African-American and more than 75 percent are eligible for the federally reduced meal program.

There are eight schools within the KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools' region: three elementary schools, four middle schools, and one high school. KIPP STRIVE Primary, KIPP Vision Primary, and KIPP WAYS Primary are elementary schools chartered through Atlanta Public Schools. KIPP STRIVE Academy, KIPP Vision Academy, and KIPP WAYS Academy are middle schools chartered through Atlanta Public Schools. KIPP South Fulton Academy is a middle school chartered through Fulton County Schools. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate is the high school and is chartered through Atlanta Public Schools.
