The rebranding from HTS to HSOC is more than a name change — it's a statement about how a discipline chooses to define itself and what it wants the world to understand about its scope. Renaming is never just administrative; it's an act of identity. That idea of redefining oneself — shedding an old label and stepping into something that feels more truthful — is deeply personal to me. It's at the very heart of my novel I Feel Like a Woman (إحساسي امرأة) , a psychological journey about identity, transformation, and the courage it takes to say: this is who I really am. The parallels between an institution finding its truer name and an individual doing the same are surprisingly moving. Congratulations to the school on this evolution — and the new website looks great! 🎉📖
