WorldTeach partners with governments and other organizations in developing countries to provide volunteer teachers to meet local needs and promote responsible global citizenship. WorldTeach is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) that places volunteers in schools and host communities in countries that specifically request assistance. All volunteers receive training, language preparation and field support.

To be eligible to apply, you must:
· Be a native or native-level English speaker
· Be at least 18 years
· Have a bachelor’s degree by the date of your program departure (for year-long and semester programs only)
WorldTeach has a rolling admissions process for all programs, but you are encouraged to apply as early as possible to strengthen the chances of being accepted into your preferred program. Applicants apply to a program in a specific country. Deadlines depend on which country you apply to teach in as a volunteer.
Note: Applicants do not have to be U.S. citizens.
