North Atlanta High School (Atlanta Public Schools) is now part of the Pre-Teaching shadow program. Students who would like to be spend one day at a local school to see what life as a teacher is like can request a visit at www.preteaching.gatech.edu/shadow.
Students may visit one school for one day only but are welcome to request multiple shadow days to see the different partner schools. The participating schools currently are:
Centennial Academy (Atlanta: Atlanta Public Schools) (walking distance from Tech Tower)
Decatur High School (Decatur: City Schools of Decatur) (easily accessible by MARTA train)
Norcross High School (Norcross: Gwinnett County Public Schools) (need car)
Renfroe Middle School (Decatur: City Schools of Decatur) (easily accessible by MARTA train)
Lilburn Elementary (Lilburn: Gwinnett County Public Schools) (need car)
Marietta High School (Marietta: Marietta City Schools) (need car)
Meadowcreek High School (Norcross: Gwinnett County Public Schools) (need car)
