Black History Month Lecture with Dr. Melissa Harris-Perry

In honor of Black History Month, Dr. Melissa Harris-Perry will be presenting a lecture at the Georgia Tech Student Center Theater (350 Ferst Drive Atlanta, GA 30332) from 2:00pm-3:30pm on February 5, 2014. Melissa Harris-Perry is a Professor of Political Science at Tulane University, an MSNBC Host, a columnist for The Nation, and author of Sister Citizen: Shame, Stereotypes, and Black Women in America and Barbershops, Bibles, and BET: Everyday Talk and Black Political Thought.
